Q: How did you come up with your story?
I wanted to do something original that would stand out among the smattering of vampire novels and everyday romances. I’ve been told by readers they’ve never seen a wrestling novel, even though there are a few wrestling books on the market. My love for the sport and respect for those who participate in it, along with adding a little romance in between helped form an idea during the summer of 2008, and came to fruition almost two years later.

Q: Who or what inspired you to become a writer?
I was encouraged in high school. I wasn’t much of a talker, but found I could express myself easier when I wrote things down. When I was on my high school’s newspaper staff, I was the first to have an article published in an actual newspaper when a music review I did was discovered by a classmate in a school paper edition. Their father was a columnist for the local paper, and asked permission to reprint it. Of course, I said yes.

Q: If you weren’t a writer, what would you be? Why?
I would probably still be in acting, or doing art, since I love all things of creative expression.

Q: Favorite genres to read?
Bio. and Memoirs, Humor, Classic Literature.

Q: What are your pet peeves?
Cell phones being used in public or while someone is driving. It’s just rude, and in the driving case, dangerous.

Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m actually a very quiet person until someone gets to know me.

Q: Where else can we find you, other titles, or anything else you’d like to share?
I have a book blog,
http://newandgoodreading.blogspot.com, as well as being a team member at an incredible author site named Authors on Show, which opened in May and has been viewed in over 60 countries. My Twitter account is @lacarrington1
