Q: How did you come up with your story?
In His Love began as a story of an orphan girl and her unrelentless pursuit after the love of her father. With time and the help of a great conceptual editor the story unfolded into a romance.

Q: Who or what inspired you to become a writer?
I believe I have been blessed with a talent to write from the deep wells of experience. I began writing poetry when I was about sixteen years old for a few years then nothing until I enrolled in an entry level English class in Community College in Naples, Florida. It was that English teacher who reintroduced me to my love of writing and showed me how to write visually. She is the one I hold most responsible for seeing a diamond in the rough and took the time outside school to polish my writing and make it the best it could be!

Q: If you weren’t a writer, what would you be? Why?
A secretary. That is the job I just quit a few weeks ago to pursue my writing full time or at least most of the time. I am simply miserable in a structured meaningless environment.

Q: Favorite genres to read?
Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Noir, Paranormal, Romance, YA.

Q: What are your pet peeves?
Perfectionists! Because I am the total opposite of perfection!!

Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
My passion. I am a very passionate person about not only things I love but things I strongly believe in.

Q: Where else can we find you, other titles, or anything else you’d like to share?
My first book was titled, “The Path that Gets Brighter.” It is a contemporary version of a devotional. Both of my books are available at all online sites (at least that’s what my publisher tells me) and major booksellers. I am loving life in the Emerald Coast of Florida with my fiance and planning our wedding in the Keys in mid fall of this year!
